International Women's Day 2022

This International Women’s Day we’ve put together some JUSTICE Professional haircare packs for women in refuges.

These packs include all of the essentials and we are grateful to be able to support the women within our community with this donation.

The theme of International Women’s Day 2022 is #BreakTheBias. Together we forge equality for women and united we can break the bias!

How is JUSTICE Professional committing to breaking the bias? 

At Justice, equality is intrinsic to who we are- it’s in our name. We contribute regular donations of our haircare products to Share the Dignity to support Australian women and girls experiencing homelessness and fleeing domestic violence, ensuring that all women are treated with the dignity they deserve but many of us take for granted.

Our brand is called Justice because it reflects our concrete commitment to living in harmony with the natural environment and with each other. The Justice family is growing each year, both in terms of our core team and the women we partner with, representing a diverse community woven from a rich array of cultural and religious backgrounds.

I see Justice as an opportunity to uplift the women around me - I love watching my amazing team and our talented partners grow their skills and their self-belief through the power of collaboration. 

Which female inspires you most and why? 

Everyday women are my inspiration. From the Women of Ukraine who are inspiring me every day with their indomitable strength and courage, to the incredible women leading the clean-up and recovery efforts in the northern rivers. As women we bring communities together and we are so lucky at Justice to have a community of talented female business brains driving our strategy to provide salon quality haircare at affordable prices to everyone. 

Any advice for aspiring SheEOs? 

I’m a passionate believer that the future is female if you are open to seizing control of your own destiny. Always strive to learn something new, actively network, ask questions and learn from the best, don’t be afraid to ask for help or to be introduced to someone that you know will help you on your chosen career path. 

And don’t be afraid to have an open and honest conversation with your Boss about where you want to go and what you want to achieve so they can be a staunch ally in helping get you there.

A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
